The steep valley eventually led to a winding trail, which subtly inclined to a breathtaking, attractive and completely secluded part of the trout stream in West Wisconsin.
It was at the end of the 1990s, during which I did not know that I did not know about fishing, not to mention the anatomy of the trout stream. I could identify the pool, but besides, not much more. This “uncertain water” … I had no idea what it was or why it was significant.
