In addition, the Department of Natural Resources in Minnesota and Wisconsin DNR created a modern sanctuary of Tamła from TAYLOR Falls to the upstream side of highway 8 between Taylorrs Falls and St. Croix Falls, Wis. From March 2, on June 15 each year, all fishing is prohibited in zander and boat to protect accelerating fish.

These changes create consistent everyday and possession of St. Croix between Minnesota and Wisconsin. Lower regulations of St. Croix also largely corresponds to the limits of species of both states on the Mississippi River, including Lake Pepin.

“We worked hard with our counterparts of Wisconsin to improve the provisions of our countries in these border waters and make it easier for them to understand anglers,” said Debates, the Minnesota Dnr East Metro fishing supervisor. “These updates also help us maintain healthy, balanced fish populations, maximizing fishing possibilities.”
