Milwaukee Brewers won his second match in a row with convincing 5-1 victory Against Houston Astros on Monday evening. Christian Yelich, who has a clearly leisurely beginning this season, shattered a two -level house to emphasize the overall solid night of Milwaukee on a plate. William Contreras had 1-4 from the RBI and scored a goal at Yelich’s house.
Rhys Hoskins and Jake Bauers had 2-4 from the RBI per piece. Bauers began in the right field after Sali Frelick was wounded on Sunday and well in defense.
But although the brewers were on a plate, the game’s story was their pitching.
Milwaukee Brewers Starter Tobias Myers won his first win in the season
Until recently, myers did not join the brewer’s rotation due to an oblique injury he suffered during spring training. Last season he was 9-6 years elderly with Era 37 in 27 matches (25 starts) in what was [pleasantly] Surprisingly campaign of debutants.
But Myers fought in his first two starts in 2025. On Monday, going to the game, he had 0-0 from Era 5.14 and only 7.0 Inns.

Nick Mears came to finish the change and try to keep the Brewers 3-1 lead. He hit the first cake he faced and then got a second to replace and end the frame.
Jared Koenig, Grant Anderson and Joel Payamps combined another three innings to tighten the victory.

During the season, Mears became one of the brootters to which the manager Pat Murphy turned at a high level. It is a surprising but positive development because it had 0-1 with Era 7.31 after Milwaukee purchased it last season.
This season, however, has 0-0 with the 0.69 era. Interestingly, he appeared in so many matches this season (13) for Milwaukee as last year.
After the match, Mears told journalists, “Why are you alive”, discussing Murphy, who chose him to aid him pull the brewers out of jams.

It took some time, but Bullpen Brewers seems to return to the right track after the catastrophic beginning of the season, and Mears is an essential reason.
