Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Garrett Crochet was needy through the first six innings of this game, giving up just one run, five hits and striking out eight. He was removed after throwing 103 pitches and his team leading 3-1. The Brewers got into the tie when Justin Anderson relieved after three walks by Brice Turang, William Contreras and Christian Yelich loaded the bases. With two outs, Willy Adames tied the game with an RBI single.

In the 10th inning, the White Sox started by intentionally walking Christian Yelich. Yelich and William Contreras (automatic baserunner at second base) then advanced 30 yards from a wild pitch. Then, after two hits, Willy Adames ended the game with an infield single.

The Chicago White Sox have now lost 10 games in a row.
Already owning a league-worst record of 15-44, the White Sox have also lost 10 games in a row. They were outscored 63-28 in that stretch and were defeated by the Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays. If their losing streak reaches 11 games, the Milwaukee Brewers will also join that list.
