Muizza Tounkara, a three-star receiver in the 2025 recruiting class, was a priority target at the position for the Badgers. Tounkara, a Texas native, currently holds 27 scholarship offers and is also on official visits to Arizona, Arkansas and Kansas. The receiver is tight-lipped about where he’s leaning these days, but the Wisconsin football program appears to still be playing an significant role.
Wisconsin football remains in play for three-star receiver Muizz Tounkara
Although the Wisconsin football staff played a leading role in Hilton Jr.’s recruitment process, Muizza Tounkara remains the main goal. Tounkara made an official visit to Madison the last weekend in May and has visited Madison since then Kansas Jayhawks. The recipient has a scheduled appointment Arizona this coming weekend and Arkansas next weekend.
The Wisconsin Badgers football staff loves Tounkara’s physical, massive frame
What stood out on the field for the Wisconsin football team during Tounkara’s recruitment was his physical play both in the air and on the ground. While Tounkara plays a physical game and throws stiff arms, he can also weave through traffic to find a clear lane. Once the receiver finds an open field, there are not many players on the field who can catch up to him.
Tounkara is also an accomplished athlete and runs around the field at incredible speeds. Wisconsin believes that Tounkara’s frame and speed could make him a very tough attacker to stop.
Can the Wisconsin football staff still land Tounkara despite the potential addition of Hilton Jr?

One of the biggest questions surrounding Tounkara and the Wisconsin football team is whether he would join the program if fellow receiver Eugene Hilton Jr. did as well. Wisconsin was identified as the team to beat for Hilton Jr., who would join a robust group of receivers.
However, it does not appear that Hilton Jr’s potential involvement was a major factor in Tounkara’s decision. Tounkara intends to complete the remaining official visits before making a decision, but other affected programs may not be able to offer any playing time before then. Arkansas currently has 15 signees and one incoming signee, and Arizona has eight signees, but only three are upperclassmen.
Arizona will also return its top two leading receivers, including: Regards, McMillan, who last season led the team that organized as many as 90 receptions. If playing time is truly significant to Tounkara, the Wisconsin football program is the best fit for him.
