At the age of 103, Rueben Kolpack has achieved many milestones. There are certainly too many to list here, but let’s try anyway.
Soldier of World War II. He was awarded the Silver Star for gallantry in action, the Purple Heart, the African/European Medal, the Victory Medal and the Belgian Medal on the recommendation of the French government.
Married for 77 years to his wife Lucille, who died in March at the age of 97, just five days before her 98th birthday. Father of six children. A successful farmer. Wisconsin’s oldest licensed deer hunter, age 102. Wisconsin Outdoor News 2024 Person of the Year.
