Next season, both Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft will have two years left on their rookie contracts. According to him, Ben Sims still has one year left Above the Cap.

That in itself makes tight end not as much of a pressing need to address. However, that doesn’t mean we won’t see the Packers trying to add depth to this unit by dipping.

Tyler Davis, who is still rehabbing from an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, is not blocked this year – although I assume he will make the team as a special teams member – and will be a free agent in 2025. Henry Pearson could tight fill this move will end the Packers role, but at least for now, that remains to be seen. He will also be a free agent next offseason.

For now, it looks like this is a position that will need to add depth, and even if the Packers re-sign someone or add someone from outside, they could view the draft as an opportunity to add some younger players. , the higher talent that comes at the end of this job group.

The Packers currently have seven official picks in next year’s draft, one in each round, and are projected to receive a pick to compensate for the loss of Yosh Nijman in free agency, which would give them a total of eight picks.
