It’s challenging to imagine right now with the sweltering heat upon us, but cooler weather is around the corner. And soon enough, holiday festivities will be here.
Though it’s one of the most popular summer getaways from Chicago, Wisconsin Dells will give Chicagoans a reason to visit during the fall this year with a Christmas in the Dells Dinner Show. Produced by Legacy Entertainment Group, it’s being billed as the largest Christmas show in the state. The production will take place at Palace Theater and run from November 1 through the end of 2023.
Guests will sit down to a four-course dinner of roasted turkey, honey-glazed ham, sides, vegetable soup and choice of pumpkin pie or chocolate brownie for dessert, plus tea, water or lemonade. The show will feature 22 singers, dancers and variety acts, as well as ice skaters and a seven-piece orchestra. Expect to see the North Pole and Santa’s workshop brought to life, all set to your favorite Christmas songs. The second half of the performance will focus on a live nativity and the true meaning of the holiday.
The theater itself will also be transformed into a winter wonderland full of twinkling lights, multiple tree displays and other festive decorations. Christmas in the Dells Dinner Show will start at 7pm daily—except Mondays—alongside matinee showings at 2pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets are $79.95 for adults and $49.95 for children 11 and under, and on sale now via the official website.
