Recently, the Wisconsin football team’s top 2026 tight end revealed how his recruitment began.
Benjamin Eziuka, a three-star offensive lineman from Michigan in the class of 2026, has been on the radar of the Wisconsin football staff since the season started a few days ago. Eziuka talked about his recruiting experience at Wisconsin and loves the energy he feels there. During a recent interview, Eziuka revealed three shows he sees as “high interest” in the future.

As soon as the 2026 recruiting period opened, the Wisconsin football staff reached out to the three-star offensive lineman Benjamin Eziuka. Eziuka, a Michigan native, is receiving scholarship offers from Kent State, KentuckyAND Toledo among other schools. The recruit attracted interest in Wisconsin, Tennessee, Kansas, LouisvilleAND Penn State from the opening of the period.

When asked about programs the recruit would like to have more exposure to, Eziuka stated, “Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Michigan are three programs I’ve always been interested in.” The offensive lineman went on to say, “They have shown interest in me, so if I received offers from any of these schools, they would definitely be very high on my list.”
Eziuka also mentioned Tennessee as a program he is interested in and has shown a lot of interest in him as well.
Since enrollment began in 2026, recruiting has been inundated with high-profile programs. When asked what he felt sets him apart at the position, Eziuka stated, “I feel like my football IQ and overall understanding of the game sets me apart from a lot of other recruits.”
In addition to his intelligence on the pitch, Eziuka also brings excellent foot speed and change of direction on the pitch, making it hard to sneak past him.
With the offer, the Wisconsin Badgers football staff could take the lead
Eziuka has been vocal about the idea that if one of his top programs sends him a scholarship offer, it will be at the top of his list. Wisconsin may get his wish if they continue to develop a relationship with the recruit. The Badgers are a team that offensive linemen have enjoyed watching and have always been interested in, which could be a much more valuable proposition for a recruit.
