You don’t have to go back very far to find a time when anglers who wanted to move their boats silently through the water either drifted with the wind or used oars to propel their boats.
The advent of the electric trolling motor and its subsequent widespread adoption changed that, giving anglers the ability to silently propel their boats from the bow or stern. Perhaps it makes sense that the next step in the evolution of watercraft is the electric-powered boat.
