If there’s one thing that’s had the biggest impact on deer hunting over the past two decades, trail cameras are at the top of the list. I could make a case for the digital mapping platforms that are now available at our fingertips (for better or worse), especially if you’re a public land hunter, but it’s difficult to beat a trail camera. After all, even people who don’t know how to open a mapping app are usually using at least one trail camera.
