Milwaukee Breweries and MLB fans around the world got to watch one of the most entertaining events of the summer on Monday night: the Home Run Derby. Although no Brewers players competed in this year’s derby, fans still tuned in to watch a duel between the best players in baseball. Teoscar Hernandez of the Los Angeles Dodgers won last night’s game against Bobby Witt Jr. of the Kansas City Royals.
But the focus of the evening wasn’t on Hernandez’s performances or the other sluggers. Instead, most of the conversation (especially online) centered on the awful rendition of the national anthem before the event. Four-time Grammy nominee Ingrid Andress was the artist who performed the anthem.
