After another disappointing hunting season, about 150 hunters from northern Wisconsin gathered for a legislator-sponsored meeting to vent their frustrations at Woodruff Town Hall on Thursday, Dec. 21.
A common theme we heard from more than 20 hunters who spoke during the two-hour session was that there are too many predators on the landscape. Other issues included a lack of quality deer habitat in the northern woods and withering interest in deer hunting — especially in northern Wisconsin.
