Ahead of the 2024 All-Star Game, Bob Uecker appeared in a six-minute clip with Tom Rinaldi. The segment featured humor and jokes from Bob Uecker, but also a look back at some of the great memories from his life. Fox Sports MLB posted the video on their social media page on X, which is listed below.
“I’m starting to become a senior here, but coming here every day, walking into the clubhouse and being around these guys makes me feel like I’m one of the players.”

I’ve been listening to Bob my whole life. Brewers fans are so lucky.

Thanks @FOXSports for the FINAL appreciation of the great Bob Uecker for his more than half a century of sports reporting @Brewery. My slow father and I watched him with the Milwaukee Braves and were present when he returned to Milwaukee in 1971. What a remarkable career!

That’s great, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg of what a great man Bob Uecker really is. I was an intern with the Brewers and he was always nice and supportive. Years after I worked for the team, he still remembered me by name when our paths crossed. Great memories.

I’ll never forget as a kid hearing him say one afternoon in the ’90s, “It’s a beautiful day for baseball. The kind of day you want to smear honey on yourself and let ants crawl all over you.”
Nobody likes him.

What is Bob Uecker’s current radio schedule?
At 90, Bob Uecker now makes his own broadcast schedule, but he’s mostly found at Brewers home games and has significantly reduced his travel. Owner Mark Attanasio indicated before the season that “it’s his cabin and he can do whatever he wants in it.”
