Brian Knepper, deputy wildlife ranger for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, received the 2022 Shikar Safari Club International Wildlife Officer of the Year Award during the Natural Resources Board (NRB) meeting Dec. 13 in Madison.
Knepper directs the Department of Natural Resources’ homeland security efforts at the Division of Public Safety and Resource Conservation in Madison.
