Your guide to Pride events throughout Wisconsin this month LATEST NEWS

WISCONSIN — Pride Month is celebrated throughout the month of June to recognize the LGBTQ+ community’s past, present and future.

From Milwaukee to Eau Claire, Pride Month will be celebrated throughout Wisconsin with festivals, parades, picnics and more.

Milwaukee

PrideFest
When: June 1-3
Where: Henry Maier Festival Park | 200 N. Harbor Dr.

Milwaukee’s annual PrideFest is returning for its 35th year, with headliners including Peaches and Betty Who. PrideFest has been Wisconsin’s largest LGBTQ+ festival since 1987. For more on vendors, entertainment and ticket information, click here. 

Milwaukee Pride Parade
When: June 4, 2 p.m.
Where: 2nd St. to Seeboth St.

The annual Milwaukee Pride Parade will feature more than 150 units, making it the largest parade in the organization’s history. Click here for more details.

Pride Night
When: June 7, 6:40 p.m.
Where: American Family Field | 1 Brewers Way

The Milwaukee Brewers are hosting Pride Night, presented by Aurora Health Care. The Pride Night ticket package features a ticket to the Crew’s game against the Baltimore Orioles, as well as a Brewers Pride t-shirt.

Ride with Pride
When: June 3, 11 a.m.
Where: Harley-Davidson Museum | 400 W Canal St.

This is the world’s largest LGBTQ+ motorcycle ride. Mopeds are welcome to join the highway-less ride with motorcyclists. Waivers are required for participants on this free ride around the city.

“Wisconsin Pride” screening
When: June 9, 7 p.m.
Where: Oriental Theatre | 2230 N Farwell Ave.

“Wisconsin Pride” has a red-carpet debut at the Oriental Theatre co-hosted by Milwaukee Film and PBS Wisconsin. It focuses on the fight for human rights in the state. Tickets are free online.

Madison

Pride Family Portraits
When: June 8 from 3-5 p.m., June 13 from 4-6 p.m., June 18, 2-4 p.m.
Where: 726 N Midvale Blvd.

Hosted by OutReach Madison, kids, partners and all families can get professional photos taken at the Hilldale Rainbow Wall, between Shake Shack and Gigi’s Cupcakes. A confined number of photo slots are available, so registration is recommended. A recommended $20 donation for the photo session is requested. All proceeds benefit OutReach LGBTQ+ Community Center and can be made during registration. Click here for more details.

Glamour, Rebellion and Bingo: Exploring the Legacy of Drag Shows
When: June 22, 5:30 p.m.
Where: DreamBank | 821 E Washington Ave.

Four drag queens share their personal experiences and reflections on the history and cultural significance of doing drag as well as drag shows. After connecting the dots on the history of drag, participants will play a game of drag Bingo and see a special performance after. For tickets, click here.

Wisconsin LGBT Chamber’s Pride Business Showcase
When: June 20, 5:30 p.m.
Where: 2424 University Ave.

The free event is an opportunity to celebrate Pride Month, as well as to network with different businesses and individuals that support the LGBTQ+ community.

Green Bay

LGBTQIA+ Social Group
When: June 2, noon
Where: 300 S Adams St.

The Pride Center of Northeastern Wisconsin is hosting a 50+ LGBTQIA+ and ally social group. Donations are accepted to provide support for using the Grounded Cafe space.

“With Pride”
When: June 10, 7 p.m.
Where: Tarlton Theatre | 405-409 W Walnut St.

A collection of Pride-themed films will be shown. Cocktails and movie snacks will be available for purchase.

Appleton

Pride Night
When: June 20, 6:40 p.m.
Where: 2400 N Casaloma Dr.

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers’ Pride Night has a $32 ticket package that includes themed socks. Those interested can operate the coupon code “pride” when purchasing their packages.

Oshkosh

Oshkosh Pride 2023
When: June 25, 1 p.m.
Where: Leach Ampitheater | 303 Ceape Ave.

This free, family-friendly event will include food and beverages to purchase, as well as yard games, music, speakers, performers and more.

Sturgeon Bay

Open Door Pride Festival
When: June 24, 10 a.m.
Where: Martin Park

The seventh annual event will feature food vendors, DJs, a drag show and more activities.

Wausau

Family Pride Fest
When: June 3, 11:30 a.m.
Where: 400 block in downtown Wausau

The free event will feature children’s activities, food trucks, a drag show and more.

La Crosse

Pride Family Picnic
When: June 3, 11 a.m.
Where: Weigent Park | 1500 Cass St.

There will be games for children and adults. Organizers will also provide food and extras.

Eau Claire

Pride in the Park: Better in Color
When: June 10, 11 a.m.
Where: Phoenix Park

There will be more than 50 vendor booths, food trucks, activities for all ages, music, drag performances and more.

Stevens Point

Point Pride 2023
When: June 10, 11 a.m.
Where: Pfiffner Pioneer Park | 1100 Crosby Ave.

There will be various activities throughout the day into the evening, as well as vendors, a DJ and drag performances.

Fond du Lac

Pride Ride
When: June 25, 11 a.m.
Where: Deneveu Shelter at Lakeside Park

The family-friendly bike ride will go through Lakeside Park into the downtown district. A helmet and signed waiver are required. Riders should complete the waiver in advance, here.

Aniwa

Central Wisconsin Pride
When: June 15-18
Where: Motorama Auto Museum Events Grounds | 181705 Stradale Ln.

The festival will feature vendors, a pageant, dance parties, drag shows, camping, river tubing, a champagne brunch and more. Click here for more.

Valley Wide Pride Fest
When: June 17, 9 a.m.
Where: Lakefront Park
