Green Bay Packers defensive end Rashan Gary made his NFL top 100 debut, finishing first Player no. 50 in the top 100 players of 2024. list on Friday.
The 2019 first-round draft pick has 9.0 sacks, 22 quarterback hits and forced two fumbles in 2023, his first season back from a torn ACL in November 2022.
Gary finished with 60 pressures, according to Pro Football Focus, which was second on the Packers defense behind Kenny Clark (61). He had a career-high 81 pressures in 2021 and was on pace for another upset season in 2022 before suffering a solemn injury.
Gary, who has been in good shape throughout the offseason and is moving into a 4-3 defensive playmaker role in Jeff Hafley’s system, could be on the cusp of having the best season of his career in 2024.
Gary likely won’t be the only Packers player on the list this season. Quarterback Jordan Love, who just signed a record four-year contract extension, is expected to be drafted in the top 40. The final 40 players will be revealed in the next few days.
