If hunters had a better scientific understanding of the deer rut, they could hunt their prey better.
On the November 15 edition of the Deer Season 365 podcast, presented by the National Deer Association (NDA), Chief Wildlife Officer Kip Adams answered hunters’ burning questions about the deer rut.
“In most states in the U.S., deer are in their mating season at the same time,” Adams said.
