The Green Bay Packers coordinators met with the media Monday to answer questions about the first week of training camp. Special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia, offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich and defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley were all available before the Packers began their second week of camp.

Rich Bisaccia, Special Teams
He said having Clete Blakeman and other NFL officials in Green Bay to facilitate him learn some of the up-to-date rules and the mechanics of starting the game was a “big help.”
Bisaccia asked Tyler Davis to evaluate special teams film last year while he was recovering from a season-ending injury. I’m glad he’s back as a special teams leader.
On the miners’ competition: “It’s still a long process… we’ll just keep digging.”
About Daniel Whelan: Big foot, improved as a handler. Likes his intelligence and athleticism. Wants better field punts in terms of directionality.
Bisaccia believes changes will have to be made in kickoffs as the season progresses. A learning process throughout the season for everyone.
Adam Stenavich, attack
On Jordan Morgan: You want to put them in one spot. You don’t want to move them around so much that they can focus. When you look at the bigger picture, where he would compete best this year for a starting role, we looked at it and felt that the right linebacker position is that spot. We’ll focus on that. I want to keep him in one spot right now… I think he’s done a really good job so far. He’s got a glowing future.
He sees Andre Dillard, Kadeem Telfort, Caleb Jones, Travis Glover and Luke Tenuta as competition for the point guard role.
He thinks Josh Jacobs can run routes and catch the ball really well as a running back. He’s still trying to find his best role in the passing game. “He’s a threat in the passing game.”
Rasheed Walker showed the Packers they can trust him at left quarterback.
On Jeff Hafley’s defense: More defensive backs in the field, less coverage. More aggressive with defensive backs in running matches. “They play with a really good edge.”
On AJ Dillon: “He ran the ball hard.” He thinks he’s in great shape. He’s cheerful to have Jacobs-Dillon in the 1-2 pair.
On Kadeem Telfort: “He was a pleasant surprise. He was a steady guy.” Like his size, consistency, football intelligence.
Wants to continue working with Andre Dillard on both sides. Thinks he’s more comfortable on the left side, needs more reps on the right. Still learning the offense.
On Romeo Doubs: “The strides he makes every year. His running route is incredible now… the routes he’s running now are impressive.” Continuing the momentum from last year’s forceful finish.
On Grant DuBose: He likes his speed, his hands and his blocking. “I like what I see from Grant now.”
Jeff Hafley, defense
On rookie safeties: “We did a really good job drafting those guys.” He likes the competition, the instincts, the playmaking, the work ethic. “They’re here late at night.”
In post-practice meetings, Hafley always shows losses first. He wants to show the entire process of creating acquisitions.
He said Rashan Gary asked to talk to the defense at one point during practice because he felt there was no intensity. Gary deserves credit for his leadership.
On Eric Wilson: “I love the guy.” He said he’s great off the field, in the locker room, in the conference room. Great special teams player. Multi-position player. Dependable. “I’m very happy with him, big fan.”
On Eric Stokes vs. Carrington Valentine: “I like what I’ve seen from both of them… I think those guys motivate each other, and that’s important.” I feel comfortable playing with both of them.
On Quay Walker: “I think you’ll see confidence in him. He’s having fun out there. He plays fast.” He likes how the linebackers are improving every day in camp.
On Kalen King: They are trying to find players who can play inside, and they think he can play as a slot.
