Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has earned the respect of his NFL peers in his first season as the starter in 2023. Love, who just signed a $220 million contract extension with the Packers, was ranked No. 34 on the NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2024 list.
Taking the baton from future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers, Love had a stellar first season in Green Bay, throwing 32 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions in 17 starts in 2023. After a 3-6 start, Love caught fire behind schedule, leading the Packers to a 6-2 record and a playoff berth while playing like a top-three quarterback. In the NFC divisional round, Love was nearly perfect as the Packers beat the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium.
General manager Brian Gutekunst rewarded Love with a record-breaking contract extension that solidified Love, a 2020 first-round draft pick, as the Packers’ starting quarterback.
Love, who makes his first appearance on the list, is the highest-ranked Packers player so far. Edge rusher Rashan Gary is No. 50.
Love was ranked ahead of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, who was ranked 39th, and former Packers quarterback Davante Adams, who was ranked 40th.
The list of the 100 best players of 2024 was created by players through voting.
