On QB Sean Clifford: It’s not like it was his best practice Tuesday. We’re looking for more consistency. “He had some good plays, but we’re going to coach the guy to be perfect, knowing that’s probably not possible.”

On OT Andre Dillard: “I think he had some moments.” We’re looking for more consistency, down the stretch and down the stretch. Really talented guy, can play left or right, very athletic, fits what the Packers do. Still learning the offense. “I just want to get that consistency to the level we need it.”

On LB Eric Wilson: “You talk about a pro. He does everything right. So reliable. You can trust what he does on the field.” Big impact on special teams, continues to improve as a linebacker. Great guy to have in the linebacker room.

On DL Devonte Wyatt: He thinks he can take a huge step forward. “He’s done great.” In great shape. Great effort between the whistles. “I expect him to make a leap this year, what we’re doing with him is good for his skill set. I’m excited.”

On WR Grant DuBose: I had a back injury last year in the offseason/training camp. “It’s tough for a young player.” I had a well offseason, a full season on the practice squad, learning the offense. “Very accurate guy, puts in a lot of effort, plays great, can run the ball, strong.” I’m excited to see what he can do in the preseason.

On CB Keisean Nixon: “K-9 did a great job.” He’s taken on the slot role. He’s experienced in that style of defense, knows the ins and outs of the scheme. “He’s getting better and better.”

On WR Romeo Doubs: How he prepares, very deliberate. He takes practice, you can train Rome very tough. Night and day better than he was as a rookie. “The ability to get off the ball, great route runner, very proud of his routes, very strong hands, catches more balls than anyone in the building, before and after practice. He’s always working … that’s not a shock to me. The guy puts in the work and you can see the benefits.”

On TE Tucker Kraft: Kraft will not practice Wednesday. ‘He’s close, he’s asking to be there every day.’

On RB MarShawn Lloyd: “He’s a work in progress, he’s missed a lot of time. A lot of valuable reps. He needs to get back into football shape.” Needs reps on the field. Very excited about his skills. He’s been locked down mentally while recovering from a hip injury.
