Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are scheduled for 7:10 PM CT and Thursday 1:10 PM CT. Tuesday’s game will be broadcast on TBS and Wednesday’s on MLB Network. Milwaukee has shuffled its starting rotation and will field Freddy Peralta, Colin Rea, Frankie Montas and Tobias Myers in this order. Los Angeles will field Clayton Kershaw, then Gavin Stone. The Dodgers could field Jake Flaherty on Wednesday, but the latter two games are listed as undecided.
The Brewers and Dodgers are currently battling for a bye in the first round of the playoffs.
If the postseason started today, the Dodgers would be the No. 2 seed and have a bye in the Divisional Series, while the Brewers would be the No. 3 seed and would have to play in a best-of-three Wild Card Series. The Phillies are currently the No. 1 seed, but like the Dodgers, they also have 69 wins. The 1-3 seed is expected to be a close contest down the stretch, but this series between the Brewers and Dodgers will carry a bit more weight since it’s the last time these two teams will meet in the regular season.

In early July, the Brewers and Dodgers met in a three-game series. Los Angeles won two of the three games. As mentioned, this will be their final regular season game, so the season series is at stake. This is critical because if Milwaukee and Los Angeles finish the season with the same record, the tiebreaker that determines the playoff seeding will be a head-to-head matchup. The Brewers will need to win three of four games against the Dodgers to win the season series and maintain their tiebreaker advantage.
