Milwaukee Bucks legend Michael Redd shares a comical story about what he did after getting drafted in 2000 NBA Draft.

During his NBA career, All-Star point guard Michael Redd was mostly known for his time with the Milwaukee Bucks. But the Olympic gold medalist recently shared what happened before his rookie season in the league.

Redd spent most of his career with the Milwaukee Bucks, and was drafted in the second round of the 2000 NBA draft. He initially struggled to earn minutes behind All-Star Ray Allen, but eventually carved out a significant role for himself, becoming a consistent scorer and an NBA All-Star in 2004.

The Bucks star had his best statistical season 2006-07averaging a career-high 26.7 points per game. This year, he set a Bucks record for most points in a game with 57 against the Utah Jazz. Despite his individual successes, the Bucks struggled to win, finishing the season with a record of 28–54.

Redd’s career was derailed by a series of knee injuries beginning in 2009. He sat out the following seasons, playing in only 10 games in 2010-11 before signing with the Phoenix Suns for his final NBA season in 2011-12. He announced his retirement in 2013 and has since pursued business ventures, including an entrepreneurship podcast.

Just before the 2003 trade deadline, former Bucks point guard Ray Allen was traded to the Seattle Supersonics. This move opened up more minutes for Redd in 2003-04, a season in which he earned his first All-Star selection that campaign. Needless to say, the Bucks star had his best start there.
