The 18th annual Friday Night Street Dance is going to be epic this year! The Waupaca Community Arts Board is hosting the fantastic band The Jimmys under the large tent on Fulton Street in downtown Waupaca!
Known for bringing audiences to their feet, The Jimmys are an award-winning, high-energy, seven-piece funky blues band that combines the talents of Jimmy Voegeli on keyboards and Hammond B-3 organ, legendary blues guitarist Perry Weber on six-string and vocals, drummer Chris Sandoval – a veteran of Tommy Castro’s band – and the experience of Southern Wisconsin’s greatest bassist, John Wartenweiler, and a killer horn section of Pete Ross on tenor saxophone, Chad Whittinghill on trumpet and Joe Goltz on trombone.
Arrive early (6:00 PM) and order some delicious food from the food vendors. Then enjoy a beer, wine or gentle drink right in the main tent.
Food options include:
Hmong Eggrolls – Asian Eggrolls and more
Diablo’s – Mexican Food
Moo’s Ice Cream – Ice Cream Delights
Friday Night Street Dance is free thanks to the amazing support of the community, including our 2024 title sponsor, Community First Credit Union!
