High school football is back! De Pere wins season opener; Appleton North loses at home

After unexpectedly advancing to the WIAA’s second tier of play last year, the De Pere High School football team continued its mighty showing early in the 2024 season.

The Redbirds cruised to a 41-0 win over Manitowoc, their first win in a season opener since the COVID-shortened season in spring 2021.
