The Green Bay Packers’ final open practice of the 2024 training camp will feature a visit from the Baltimore Ravens, who will come to Green Bay for a one-day practice before Saturday’s preseason finale.
Matt LaFleur’s team will face the AFC powerhouse in competitive periods and 11-on-11 in one of the final preseason games before the regular season begins.
So what can we expect during Day 19 of play at Ray Nitschke Field?

LaFleur still not sure if Jordan Love will play in Saturday’s preseason finale. “We’ll see.”
LaFleur said video from Friday’s joint practice showed Nik Bonitto hitting Jordan Love in the arm. The message: “They’re wearing a difficult colored uniform for a reason. Stay away from the quarterback,” LaFleur said.
Injury Updates
LaFleur said rookie Jordan Morgan will go through individual periods before the team decides whether he will return to 11-on-11 play on Thursday.
Packers still waiting for test results and feedback on AJ Dillon’s stinger.
Live news and practice news
The Packers have signed defensive lineman Keonte Schad, who played the past two seasons in the UFL, according to Bill Huber.

A bit peaceful, Colby Wooden had a nice summer. Two robust preseason games and a good 1-on-1 start on Thursday:
Colby has two impressive 1v1 wins against Ravens OL.

Great acting by Michael Pratt and Grant DuBose:
The first gigantic applause for #Packers the attack comes as QB Michael Pratt passes a long throw to WR Grant DuBose on the sideline.

Roquan Smith intercepts Jordan Love:
Jordan Love tried to hit Jayden Reed over the middle, and Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith cuts up to catch the ball. Impressive play by Smith, one of the best in the NFL. He came out and got the ball. Slow start for #Packers offense.

Sean Clifford to Malik Heath for his great game:
Malik Heath beats rookie CB Nate Wiggins on a running route down the right sideline, and Sean Clifford doesn’t miss. He throws the ball over Heath’s shoulder for about 45 yards. Clifford needed that throw.

Xavier McKinney in early game:
McKinney in a couple of plays. Stop on the run play on the LOS. Stop on the flat pass. PBU over the middle.
Bullard starts alongside him, but Williams also gets an assignment.

Slow start for Jordan Love:
Jordan Love’s numbers in the team’s first 3 periods, which were split between 1st/2nd down and 3rd down: 6-12, 52 yards, INT. It was a sluggish start against the Ravens defense.
Sean Clifford hit Malik Heath for 45 yards. Michael Pratt hit Grant DuBose for about 25 yards on a bootleg.

Screen pass by center fielder to Tucker Kraft, who scores a touchdown in the red zone:
The screen game is gaining momentum!!!
Love passes to Kraft in the penalty area for a touchdown.

Love and the Packers on fire at the 10-yard line. Romeo Doubs caught two touchdown passes:
Love throws four passes inside the 10-year box. Four touchdowns.

Red zone pressure for No. 1 Packers defense:
Lamar had two TD passes during a long RZ period to Kolar and Flowers. Nixon also committed a DPI in the end zone while covering Tez Walker’s face. Also, constant pressure/sack in the defensive backfield.

BIG day for Tucker Kraft:
Love almost gets caught again by Smith on a shallow cross. Gets a free play offside but can’t connect with Doubs. Watson’s diving attempt on the sideline is no good. He finishes the sequence with a bullet off to Kraft over the middle, Kraft’s fifth catch today.

I love dealing with the ball moving period:
In Move the ball, Jordan Love hits Jayden Reed for 33 yards deep over the middle. On the play it would have been a 38 yard TD. A little off throw, but Reed adjusted well to catch.
For the game, Love completed 3 of 5 passes for 69 yards.

Some great plays by Anthony Johnson Jr. against the No. 2 defense:
Good performance for #Packers two pass-rushing defenses – forced a four-and-out. Baltimore rushes for a second down with a seam to Ismail, but Anthony Johnson Jr. breaks up the pass and gets a TFL to end it

Attack No. 1 scores the equalizer within two minutes:
Anders Carlson 35 yards to tie the game on a two-minute play in 1s. Love hit Doubs for 42 yards deep inside with Stephens in coverage. A screen to Jacobs for a four-down loss pushed them back, and two fades to Wicks were INC. Washington had a great PBU on third down from the back right side…
— Matt Schneidman (@mattschneidman) August 22, 2024
Defense #1 is also stopped within two minutes:
One Packers defense takes down Jackson on first down and helps run out the clock. Baltimore tries for a 62-yard field goal by Tucker but fails
— Wes Hodkiewicz (@WesHod) August 22, 2024
Another interception by Packers rookie Evan Williams:
Evan Williams intercepts Ravens backup QB Josh Johnson in the 2-minute drill. Literally, all this kid does is play. #Packers have no choice but to field a rookie selected in the fourth round of the draft.
— Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) August 22, 2024
Michael Pratt brings the reserve offense into range of the goal area, and Greg Joseph equalizes:
Pratt 2-minute drive: Almost 4th and out, but a Ravens penalty on 4th down gives another chance. DuBose’s dive down the sideline plus low passes to Merriweather, Sims and Toure set up Joseph for a long FG, which is good.
— Mike Spofford (@mikespofford) August 22, 2024
Anders Carson was five-for-five, including long field goals that ended two different two-minute plays.
In the two-minute drills, the Packers were 3/3 to tie the score and 3/3 to prevent a point from being scored.
During a two-minute drill, when we were down by three points, the Packers scored three field goals and gave up zero points.
