The City of Janesville Recreation Department and Downtown Janesville, Inc. present Music at the Marv, a free summer concert series featuring local and regional artists in a variety of genres. Weather permitting, performances are held Tuesdays from June through August. Come enjoy live music and great food and drink options in pretty, award-winning downtown Janesville.
June 4: Smart Mouth – Iconic Billboard Hits from the 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s.
June 11th: Cash Box Kings – Masterfully raw and unvarnished blues rock house.
June 18: Hillbilly Rockstarz – a band loved by legions of fans, performing both newfangled and classic country music, adding their own unique accents.
June 25: Dem Horny Funkers – a lively mix of rock and roll favorites, dance covers and an amazing horn section.
July 2: Too Deep – sound heavily inspired by 70s soul and gospel artists, as well as 70s and 80s funk bands.
July 9: The WhiskeyBelles – an upbeat and experienced fusion of country, folk and American music.
July 16: Nauti Nauti – breathes up-to-date life into pre-MTV 70s and 80s rock and pop songs.
July 23: TUGG – ska and reggae music with tropical rhythms and delicate melodies.
July 30: Your Mom Band – amazing experiences, crazy stage antics, ironic banter and thematic shows.
August 6: Ladies Must Swing – a super energetic, 17-piece all-female substantial band.
August 13: Grand Groove Hotel – a vigorous vocalist accompanied by a powerful nine-person band.
August 20: Red Hot Horn Dawgs – a vigorous brass band that combines rock, pop, R&B and other genres.
August 27th – The Mercynaries – An invigorating mix of music, including contemporary top 40 hits, classic rock and more.
