Bring some freshness to your sluggish summer carp fishing by catching them with artificial baits

It was the perfect time of year for the method I was using.
Washed-up crayfish shells littered the shallows, and many fish were foraging for food on the supple shells they knew were lurking beneath the rocks. Using polarized sunglasses to block out the glare of the water, I found one such fish swimming nearby and, as gently as possible, placed my imitation crayfish in the water just in front of its nose.
The bite was massive and soon the line was coming off the reel much faster than I could reel it in.
