A shocking number of Milwaukee Bucks fans think Bobby Portis is a better defender than Khris Middleton

In a recent poll conducted on X, formerly Twitter, Milwaukee Bucks reporter Nathan Marzion asked fans a question about Bobby Portis and Khris Middleton. Marzion argued over who was the worst defender among the two veterans.

The result of the said survey is downright shocking.

To be straightforward, defense isn’t the most distinguishing feature of Portis and Middleton. However, it’s still astonishing to think that nearly 20% of Bucks supporters – or at least those who took the survey – believe what Portis brings to the table defensively is superior to what Middleton offers:

There is no denying that Portis is a valuable member of the team. However, he failed to be named a finalist for the Sixth Man of the Year award this season for his elite defense. The fact that some fans believe Portis is a better defender than Middleton has sparked backlash against X:

To be fair, not only 20% of those surveyed (at least at the time of writing) think Middleton is a worse defender than Portis. In fact, one reporter actually selected Portis as a member of this year’s All-Defense team.

I love Bobby as much as that guy, but this reporter should have his voting privileges removed.
