After the seasons of games on land lakes in the Middle West, anglers gather to river systems in the hope of putting a hook. The mass migrations of Walley go to spawning areas, and Walleye’s anglers are not far behind. Spring is a favorite season for many and for a reason. This is undoubtedly the best time to attack the Walley.
This is one of these several times throughout the season, during which anglers can find quantity and quality in the same places. If you get well, it can be amazing. There are often about 100 fish, as well as many giants hitting the network.
Rivers, both enormous and tiny, offer excellent possibilities of Walleye fishing throughout the spring. To say, the most coherent bites usually occur in larger river systems, especially those that combine with the highest quality Walleye lakes.
Great examples of the Mississippi rivers, Rainy River, Fox River, Missouri River and Detroit River. Although smaller systems do not receive the same level of noise, they should certainly not be forgotten. In many cases, they offer similar experience, only on a smaller scale.

Basically, Łódź anglers are better suitable for larger systems, while shore anglers are more successful at smaller ones.

Invent a flow
The location of Walleye in river systems is largely dictated by flow, especially in spring. Higher flows usually affect transparency and drive fish to shallower areas. Limited visibility and muddy water tend to gray on fishing day.
Often, the best solution is to search for areas with more pronounced water and focus on shallow cracks, less affected by flow. Spring walles can be found as shallow as just a foot or two water.
Presentations
When it comes to spring presentations, Simple is the name of the game. In some form or fashion, that’s all you need.
The device can be paved with live lures or plastics, but the goal is to employ something that moves some water. In most river situations, you often need a harder device due to moving water.
Other joint presentations include blades and Rippin ‘Rapswhich are ideal for attracting fish from afar. The overlooked option is to pull three roads with Rapala Original Floatrs and egg weights. This is a more aged school technique, but it is a great option for enormous fish.
When it comes to fish rods, joint options include average power from 6 feet and 7 feet, swift and additional configurations of action. My personal favorite for most things that Walleyes is St. Croix Rods Avid Walley 6 feet-8 mxf (Average power, additional action).
Important reminder: searching for the Spring River is usually occupied. Remember to be kind to other anglers. For many, this can be the first time they go out for the season. If you want to endure traffic, there is a good chance that you can be rewarded.
