“All we needed was 1 bucket” – Milwaukee Bucks latest NBA Cup victory sparks one major regret from Orlando Magic Star

Jalen Suggs was in a bad mood after the Orlando Magic’s 114-109 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday in the NBA Cup quarterfinals.

The one-time member of the NBA’s All-Defensive Team has made gigantic progress for Orlando since they played without Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner. Jalen Suggs finished with 32 points, nine rebounds, four steals and three three-pointers, hitting 12 of 26 shots from the field in 38 minutes of action, but it wasn’t enough to secure the victory.

“We fought, we played hard, we persevered through the heat, through the adversity, and that’s why I’m proud of every player up and down the lineup.” Suggs said via Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel. “Everyone tonight did everything they could to give themselves a chance to win. It hurts to know this. To have that chance knowing that everyone did their best. They fought despite injuries, pain and fatigue. All we needed was one bucket.

Jalen Suggs briefly left the game in the third quarter with an apparent right thumb injury. However, he came back and put on a show for Orlando in the final quarter, scoring 18 of his 32 points and nearly stealing the game for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard gave the Milwaukee Bucks a dominant performance to avoid an upset. The Greek Freak scored 37 points, seven rebounds, two steals and four blocks on 15-of-24 shooting from the field. Dame Time added 28 points, two rebounds and nine assists on 8-of-15 shooting from the field and 10-of-10 from the charity stripe .

Khris Middleton didn’t score a point against the Orlando Magic, but the three-time NBA All-Star had four rebounds, eight assists and three steals to facilitate make up for his off night.

The Milwaukee Bucks will face the Atlanta Hawks they defeated the New York Knicks in the quarterfinalsnext in the semi-final.
