American Cycle Route 30/230 American Cycle Route 30/230

The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) has approved American Bicycle Routes (USBR) 30 and USBR 230 as the first nationally designated bike routes in Wisconsin. The 269-mile USBR 30 route crosses the state from east to west. It begins in Milwaukee on Lake Michigan and ends in Bluff Siding on the Mississippi River.

The route uses many types of existing bicycle infrastructure, including: state and county bicycle trails, local roads and bicycle paths, national and county roads.

USBR 230 is an alternative section, providing route guidance for utilize when the Merrimac Ferry (Colsac III) is not operating.
