An unusual littering incident in Wisconsin involves dead fish abandoned by bait dealers

It would be great if everyone treated public and private land as if it were theirs. Tires, aged TV sets, deer carcasses, duck parts, fish heads and skins go to appropriate landfills or cemeteries. Anything smaller than that can cause clutter.
Madi Bryan, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) field warden for eastern St. Croix, in early 2024, received a hotline complaint about fish being dumped along a remote road in the area she patrols.
