Wisconsin may be best known for its delicious cheeses, but the hand-shaped state goes back hundreds of miles UTV/ATV trails with hard terrain and picturesque views. To aid riders stay safe and sound in Wisconsin’s forests, Answer Racing recently announced program to support the state’s Trail Ambassador program and fund security preparatory courses.
Since its inception in 2002, the Trail Ambassador program has trained over 1,000 volunteers. They work on state trails, conduct safety assessments and maintain relationships with landowners and government officials. Its summer 2024 programs focus on youth UTV/ATV Safety and will cover basic safety practices for both riders and passengers of larger vehicles. Young riders will have the opportunity to win Answer Racing equipment, including gloves, goggles and helmets, and training programs will include safety equipment fitting training.
The industry is a significant contributor to Wisconsin’s economy, with approximately $5.4 billion going into the bank each year. Officials said participation has exploded in the state over the past few years and is expected to continue to grow.
Answer Racing sells all kinds of equipment, from body and eye protection to helmets and youth equipment. The company has been on the market since 1976 and sponsors athletes at all levels and disciplines. While this type of partnership is a relatively fresh venture for Answer, it has previously sponsored the BarX Suzuki 250 team and several juvenile riders.
The Answer Racing partnership begins this month and will run through the end of the summer. Wisconsin Trail Ambassadors will select winners from among the children entered in the gear drawing.
