Ice fishing conditions are different than what we experienced last year. Last year, when we had a lot of snow, many of the miniature lakes were iced over. This led to muddy conditions, and the insulating nature of the snow made it complex to form more ice.
In many places walking was not uncomplicated, and in some cases driving was not an option. Anglers still managed to catch fish, but many of them considered it almost a lost season.
