The Hayward DNR Fish Team conducted a brief net survey on the east side of the Chippewa Flow this spring to gather quick data on the status of black pike, northern pike and walleye, although the timing was better for crappie than for other species. We are able to compare this year’s results with those of previous surveys to determine how the fishery has changed over time.
