The “way” fishing rumors are created and spread never ceases to amaze me. It’s also frustrating when rumors get in the way of the real sharing of information that I try to do in these columns.
Some rumors can be harmful, especially when they promote distrust of other people or groups. Not all rumors are malicious, some are about fish biology and oddities.
