Saltwater anglers often go for a “grand slam,” which involves catching four prize sport fish in the same day. Technically, the IGFA says there are three species involved in the grand slam, but apparently they catch more than they play baseball, and here we will be considering whether the grand slam involves four species.
It’s a chilly idea and requires anglers to diversify their approach and understand how to target more than just one species. In northern Wisconsin, anglers have the opportunity to catch a redhorse grand slam.
