Baseball may no longer have the luster it did in its golden years. But there are certain things about the Milwaukee Brewers (and the great American Pastime) that make it a fascinating experience for viewers both ancient and modern.
Brewers fans have plenty of reason to be excited about what’s happening on the field. The Brewers are on pace to finish the season in the playoffs after solid regular season so far. Jackson Chourio is having one of the most impressive rookie seasons in recent memory, and it has fans excited about his future.
Another factor that makes going to a Milwaukee Brewers game special is the presence of Hank, the Ballpark pup. The pooch became one of the team’s unofficial mascots in the 2010s and early 2020s, winning hearts with his naturally sweet appearance and attitude.
However, this week has been challenging for some fans as they heard depressed news this morning.
Beloved Milwaukee Brewers mascot Hank the Ballpark Pup dies
The Brewers announced that Hank had sadly passed away after a decade of entertaining fans at American Family Field.
For TMJ4 News:
“Hank was truly loved by our family, and we are so grateful for the 10 years we had with him,” said Brewers COO Marti Wronski. “Hank seemed to know he was saved by the entire Brewers family, and he never met a fan — or any person — he didn’t love. We are heartbroken that he is gone, but grateful for the joy he brought to so many and for helping to shine a light on animal rescue.”
There is no doubt that many fans will miss Hank on the field, as he was such a joy to everyone who had the privilege of being around him. Hopefully, the Milwaukee Brewers can honor his legacy by winning the World Series.
