Featuring its own triplet, the seven-acre Far Side Terrain Park features a quarterpipe, two halfpipes, and plenty of rails, kickers, and jumps. Chestnut, with the hotel and Village Ski Center located atop a ski hill, boasts a drop of 475 feet.

Devil’s Head Skis The resort boasts a 150-meter-high elevation, 30 ski slopes spread over an area of 300 acres and 9 ski lifts (capacity 16,500 skiers per hour). It is a full-service ski resort located in the heart of the glacier-formed Baraboo Bluffs. Children’s programs and lessons are available.

Sundown Mountain in Dubuque has a park for children ages 3-11 and also offers children’s lessons. There is a 475-foot vertical slope carved from an old-growth cedar forest that spans 45 acres. From the top of the scenic ski hill you can see three states and the Mississippi River Valley. Sundown offers trails to suit skiers of all skill levels, as well as an extensive nine-acre terrain park with a halfpipe and plenty of recent rails and jumps.
