Blacksmith

Johnsmith is one of the artists so often underrated – he possesses a genius that cannot be denied, ignored or overlooked. For over forty years, Johnsmith has been sharing his music throughout America and abroad. He became a favorite at festivals, clubs and home concerts. In addition to being a Kerrville New Folk winner, Johnsmith has released nine solo CDs to rave reviews, conducts music tours in Ireland, organizes rafting trips in Idaho, teaches songwriting and has worked as a songwriter in Nashville.

With his faded jeans, sparkling blue eyes and contagious smile, John immediately connects with his audience. You get the impression that this is a man who loves his life, his family and friends, and who loves nothing more than to share that love in songs and stories across the country.
