BREAKING: Green Bay Packers sign surprise Wisconsin Badgers player

The Green Bay Packers addressed all the weaknesses in the 2024 NFL Draft. The offensive line and defense were destroyed. Nine of the 11 draft picks were in these two categories. Like every year, immediately after the seventh round, many undrafted free agents sign contracts with teams.

The Packers signed a surprising Badger this year.

According to the reporter Tom Silverstein: :

Special teams will once again be a point of emphasis for the Packers this year

Bisaccia became the NFL’s top special teams coordinator in February 2022. Two years into Bisaccia’s tenure, the team has failed to impress.

Rick Gosselin ranked Green Bay 29th in 2023 after ranking 22nd in 2022 in his special teams rankings.

This continues a trend of Green Bay finishing last in the special teams rankings five times (2005, 2006, 2014, 2018 and 2021) and between 26th and 31st six more times (2008, 2009, 2010, 2016, 2019 , 2020 and 2023). over the last two decades.

We’ve seen the Packers fail in the playoffs, largely due to special teams mistakes over the last few seasons. While the long-distance striker isn’t as “flashy” as signing fans, this could be a step in the right direction for a part of the team that needs work.
