Teenage bucks almost never seem to go to bed randomly, which makes their bed locations quite predictable. You will find beds in some areas where the buck using them seems almost impossible to kill. Country bedding comes to mind, where it is often arranged according to wind direction to employ both sight and smell to your advantage.
Finding that bed was something else. The buck used it so much because it provided the best cover in an area where habitat diversity was otherwise confined. Being really specific about these sleeping spots helped me make detailed plans that have paid off in previous seasons.
