Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks finally got their turn to play in the shiny up-to-date Los Angeles Clippers stadium last Saturday.

The Intuit Dome, which is functioning as the Clippers’ official home arena for the first time, is receiving rave reviews even from opposing teams and players. Among the arena’s many notable features is “The Wall,” which consists of 51 uninterrupted rows that exclusively accommodate Clippers fans.

Despite his imposing presence, The Wall didn’t seem to bother Antetokounmpo as fans in that section tried to distract him during the competition. However, Antetokounmpo said it was a huge video board in the arena.

“Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Bucks said he didn’t notice The Wall in the Intuit Dome and Clippers fans counting down before the free throw. However, Giannis liked the Halo board.

Milwaukee suffers its 18th loss of the season

As for the game itself, the Bucks were victorious in their first game in Inglewood, losing to Los Angeles 127-117. The two-time NBA Most Valuable Player scored 36 points on 12 of 22 shots from the field and also had 13 rebounds and an assist, but those numbers were not enough to give Milwaukee the victory, and the Bucks also played a five-game winning streak end. Damian Lillard added 29 points for Milwaukee, which dropped to 25-18.

Unless Milwaukee and Los Angeles cross paths in the 2025 NBA Playoffs, the next time the Bucks will visit Inglewood for a game will be in the 2025-26 season. But they will still see each other on February 20 at the Fiserv Forum.
