Cave of Lights

This December, step into a holiday wonderland with our long-awaited Cave of Lights. Explore Mound Cave like you’ve never seen before – with constellations of twinkling lights leading you through this underground wonder.

The festival of lights continues above ground, with the park and buildings decorated to the brim with lights and festive whimsy. Whether you wander through a glowing cave or enjoy the sparkling outdoor displays, this event is sure to liven up the holiday spirit!

This season, when it gets colder outside, toasty up underground in 50° temperatures. The opportunity to see the lights will be available on every cave tour throughout the month of December. We are open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., last entry to the cave at 4:00 p.m.

EXTENDED HOURS – We will be open until 8:00 p.m., with last entry at 7:00 p.m. on selected dates:

December 12, 13 and 14

December 19, 20 and 21

December 26, 27 and 28

January 2, 3 and 4

Closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
