Adventure through the forest, gravel from beach to beach! After an explosive debut in 2023 with over 275 participants, the Coon Fork 40 in Augusta, Wisconsin will return even better than before, with chip timing, a beachside finish line and more in 2024!
Choose from three routes – 29 miles, 45 miles or 88 miles. Set off from the hidden waterfall bridge to traverse deep pine forests, classic Amish farms and scenic Wisconsin waterways on attractive gravel roads through Eau Claire and Clark counties. Whether you come for the race or the ride, and no matter what kind of bike you ride (fat bike, gravel bike, mountain bike or even a road bike with fat tires!), you will enjoy a gravel party done right!
Plan a halfway party/snack (and swim?!) at the Halfway Hang Beach Pavilion in Rock Dam. Return to Coon Fork Lake at the modern beach finish line, settle in for the After Party with music, food, beer, swimming, and more. Invite friends or family to join you!
