Damian Lillard’s sneaky Instagram activity could make him a villain for Green Bay Packers fans as he endorsed the two-time Pro Bowl winning Raiders

It’s difficult to deny the love Milwaukee Bucks fans have for Damian Lillard, but his opinion on American football could become unpopular across Wisconsin.

Wisconsin has had some of its best players traded to Las Vegas over the last few seasons, and Lillard, he is a Raiders fan himselfhe has his eye on another Packer.

Lillard reposted on his Instagram story: a post published on an NFL gossip site discussing how Jaire Alexander’s time with the Packers may soon come to an end.

The title of the post reads:

While internal conversations about Jaire Alexander’s future with the Packers have yet to begin, there is considerable debate about what Green Bay should do with the 28-year-old cornerback. The trend is for the Packers to release him, absorbing $19.1 million in dead cap space. Alexander has only played in 34 games over the past four seasons, but when he takes the field, the Packers defense holds opposing quarterbacks to a 10% lower completion rate (61% vs. 71%).

Damian Lillard’s post about Jaire Alexander sparks intrigue

Lillard is not the first person to support selling Alexander.

Alexander has been one of the Packers’ key players when fit since joining the team in 2018.

The 18th overall pick has already been named Second Team All-Pro twice (2020, 2022) and has been selected to the Pro Bowl twice (2020, 2022).

Alexander hasn’t played much this season. He will not be able to take part in the playoffs after being sidelined for the rest of the season with a knee injury.

Other Packers defenders, especially Carrington Valentine, have performed well in his absence.

GM Brian Gutekunst already silence trade rumors focused on their no. 1 cornerback, but where there is smoke, there is fire, they said.
