Considering that I drew deer and elk tags in Montana this fall, I wish I could call our last evening in Montana, Oregon, and Idaho a scouting trip, but if I were to be candid – and I think I did – that would be a bit of a stretch.
Oh, I did some research, but these discoveries won’t get me much closer to tagging a buck during Montana archery season in September or setting the sights of a scope on a Missouri Breaks buck in early November. However, I learned a few things that I would be more willing to share than the coordinates of my favorite moose hunting spots.
