Deer kill signs causing crop damage examined by the National Deer Association

It’s a deer hunter’s nightmare – hearing in your ears that the buck you’ve been watching all summer has been killed by a local farmer, orchardist, or gardener using a crop-destroying tag.
To determine where this could potentially occur, the National Deer Association (NDA) surveyed state and provincial wildlife agencies as part of its 2023 Deer Report and asked whether their jurisdictions allow the harvest of antlered bucks in in case of signs of damage or looting.
