The exhibition of the Biennale of the members of Wisconsin Craft opens at the Plymouth Arts Center on Friday, March 7, 2025. For over a century, Wisconsin Craft has been working on promoting people who design and produce their own hands. A long -term two -year exhibition is an opportunity for Wisconsin Craft members to present your most novel work at Galeria Jur.
This year’s exhibition at Galeria 110 North will emphasize the work of over 65 members’ artists. The audience is invited to a meeting with artists at the holiday party opening from 17:00 to 19:30. The miniature award ceremony will take place at 18:00. Musical live entertainment will be presented by Dana Oognavic, a piano. This exhibition is generously sponsored by Masters Gallery. The Wi Craft Biennale will be issued until April 25.
Wisconsin Craft was founded in 1916 under the name Wisconsin Society of Applied Arts. The goal of this nationwide organization is to promote customary and up-to-date craftsmanship and producer to improve the cultural life of the Wisconsin community and more. Wisconsin, meeting in a opulent craft heritage, assurance that the best contemporary and customary craftsmanship is easily accessible to everyone. Through their efforts, they educate public opinion about the importance and value of crafts in today’s world. Lowłło made a significant contribution to the development of American craftsmanship of the 20th century. Many Wisconsin craft artists who were associated with the organization in developing years and to this day have become known in the country. Today, members are still enjoying the possibilities and support provided by the current Wi Craft organization. The represented media includes ceramics, fiber, glass, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, photography, wood, sculpture, handmade paper, painting and mixed media. The bienny exhibition continues, as well as many other special events that took place during the year, including Morning Glory Fine Craft Fair and New Mke Fine Craft Studio Tour.
